Site Reliability Developer 4

Oracle is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Developer to join their Cloud DevOps team, focusing on the Oracle Database Autonomous Recovery Service. This role combines SRE expertise with database management, requiring deep technical knowledge in cloud operations and automation.

The position involves working with cutting-edge cloud technology, managing mission-critical services that customers depend on. You'll be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of recovery cloud services, implementing automation, and solving complex infrastructure challenges. The role requires expertise in various technologies including Terraform, Oracle Database, Linux, and RMAN.

As a Site Reliability Developer, you'll work on improving and maintaining the latest Oracle Cloud Service, specifically the Database Autonomous Recovery Service. The role involves collaboration with development teams, implementing service improvements, and serving as an escalation point for complex technical issues.

The ideal candidate will have 6-10+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps, strong background in database management, and excellent problem-solving skills. This position requires British passport holders willing to undergo UK Government Security clearance and participate in an out-of-hours on-call rotation.
