Oracle is seeking Site Reliability Engineers for their Mexico operations. This role is part of the Virtual Open House: Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration for experienced professionals. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services, build automation to prevent problem recurrence, and design and develop architectures for large-scale distributed systems. You'll work with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team on shared full stack ownership of services and technology areas. Key responsibilities include facilitating service capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning. You'll be responsible for the design and delivery of mission-critical stack, focusing on security, resiliency, scale, and performance. The role requires partnering with development teams to improve service architecture and acting as an escalation point for complex issues. Candidates should have a BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience running large-scale customer-facing web services. Expertise in server hardware and software configuration, networking, scripting languages, cloud computing patterns, and technology security is required. Experience with load balancing technologies, programming languages, databases, and container technologies is beneficial.
