Description For Site Reliability Engineer

Oracle is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their cloud services team. This role combines software engineering and operations expertise to build and maintain highly scalable and reliable systems. As an SRE, you'll be responsible for the design and delivery of mission-critical infrastructure, focusing on security, resiliency, scale, and performance. You'll work closely with development teams to improve service architecture and serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex technical issues.

Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer

  • Work with SRE team on shared full stack ownership of services
  • Understand end-to-end configuration and technical dependencies
  • Design and deliver mission critical stack focusing on security, resiliency, scale, and performance
  • Partner with development teams in implementing service architecture improvements
  • Act as escalation point for complex issues
  • Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting
  • Perform software performance analysis and system tuning
