Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure is a new division within Oracle, created to drive forward cloud initiatives and revolutionize healthcare technology. They are seeking entry-level software engineers (IC1) to contribute to building robust cloud applications. This role offers an opportunity to join a team focused on developing new cloud-centric applications from scratch, working alongside diverse and talented engineers solving complex problems related to software development, distributed systems, identity, security, observability, and user experience. As an IC1 engineer, you will participate in the design, development, and maintenance of critical components, gaining exposure to all phases of the software development lifecycle and working closely with senior engineers and mentors. The ideal candidate is motivated, enthusiastic about technology, and has a strong foundation in software engineering principles. While experience in public cloud services or distributed systems is a plus, the primary focus is on candidates ready to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems fundamentals
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP)
  • Willingness to learn Linux and other relevant technologies
