Software Developer 3

Oracle is seeking a Software Developer 3 to join their Fusion Release Engineering (FRE) team. This role is critical for the delivery of C and ProC code for FusionApps, focusing on maintaining and handling databases for ProC builds. The FRE team is responsible for providing and supporting high-quality frameworks that enable the Fusion Applications Development Organizations to produce, test, and deliver quality software efficiently and consistently.

The position involves working with build and patch generation systems, tools, and frameworks for audit, testing, and reporting for both Java, C-code, and Database build and lifecycle. The work is highly technical, encompassing all aspects of software development from architecture and design to implementation. The role requires collaboration with Fusion development teams and Fusion Middleware across Oracle to ensure the highest possible quality of delivered code.

The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Database, C, and Pro*C, with additional skills in Perl, Python, and XML/JSON processing. Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix/Linux environments is essential, along with experience in continuous integration/delivery development environments. The role requires excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
