Oracle's Database Tools team is seeking a Frontend Developer to join their innovative cloud services development team. This role focuses on building web-based Cloud administrative consoles for Database Cloud services, including the Autonomous Database service and Database Migration service. Responsibilities For Software Developer 3
- Write well designed, testable and efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create web user interfaces
- Integrate data from various REST based back end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Keep informed of emerging web technologies and industry trends
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
- Provide technical leadership to other software developers
- Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture
Requirements For Software Developer 3
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript and React is required
- Knowledge of Node.js and Webpack is desirable
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Proven work experience in web programming
- Excellent programming skills and in depth knowledge of modern web technologies
- A solid foundation in object-oriented software design and development
- Experience with Oracle technologies an asset
- Experience working on Windows and Linux based environments
