Responsibilities For Software Developer 3
- Work with architects, operators, and other senior engineers to define and document features
- Adopt OCI standard tools and DevOps standards, and practices
- Implement high quality code and review code written by peers
- Resolve performance and scalability issues related to tools and services
- Identify opportunities to improve health, scalability, and resiliency of products
- Build and execute unit tests and integration plans
- Provide technical leadership to other software developers
- Specify, design and implement changes to existing software architecture
Requirements For Software Developer 3
- 4+ years of experience in Java software development with networking and security skills on Unix/Linux platforms
- Good knowledge of API and application design and architecture
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
- Experience with common monitoring and observability tools
- Experience building cloud services for external and internal customers
- Experience using open source technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Knowledge of Git and common IDEs such Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Intellij
- Strong analytical, written, and communications skills
- BS or equivalent in computer science/engineering or relevant field preferred
