Oracle Communications (OC) Session Delivery Engineering Group is seeking a Software Developer 3 to join their team. This role involves designing and developing session delivery products that serve enterprise customers in providing End-to-End Security, QoS, and service availability for Voice, Video, and Unified Communication networks. The position requires strong expertise in C/C++ development, embedded Linux systems, and networking protocols. As a member of the software engineering division, you'll work on complex tasks requiring independent judgment and may have opportunities for project leadership. Responsibilities For Software Developer 3
- Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks
- Maintain and enhance existing applications in response to needs
- Collaborate closely with members of other teams throughout the software release cycle
- Write functional and design specifications as required
- Provide technical leadership to other software developers
- Specify, design and implement changes to existing software architecture
Requirements For Software Developer 3
- BSCS/EE or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software development experience in C/C++
- Experience with embedded Linux devices
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
- Networking knowledge and implementation of TCP/UDP/IP
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (L2/L3), VOIP protocols
- Experience building complex, multi-threaded system software
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
