Oracle Construction & Engineering GBU is seeking a Software Developer to join their Textura Payment Management (TPM) Application team. This role involves designing and developing features for construction industry solutions using Python as the primary language. The team has been building solutions for contractors and construction companies to manage their projects and risk since 2005. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and focuses on developing web applications using Python, SQL, Javascript, and related technologies. As part of a cross-functional agile team, you'll work on implementing features, debugging, code review, and mentoring junior members. Responsibilities For Software Developer 3
- Implementing web application features in Python, SQL, Javascript, HTML and CSS
- Working closely with team of developers and testers
- Generating reports and investigating reported bugs
- Writing documentation
- Learning and applying new technology
- Helping code review changes
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members
- Improving the design and architecture of our product
- Specify, design and implement changes to existing software architecture
Requirements For Software Developer 3
- BS degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software engineering or related experience
- Solid understanding of software development roles, processes and procedures
- Familiarity with agile software methodology
- Experience working on robust, secure, high-volume SaaS/cloud applications
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience debugging complex applications
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services
