Oracle is seeking an experienced Software Developer 4 to join their cloud infrastructure team. This role is crucial in managing infrastructure and processes for OCI Strategic Customers. As an Architect, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing new processes that may be OCI-wide, while establishing strong relationships with strategic customers and peers across OCI. The position requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking technologies, and system optimization. You'll work on critical projects involving network architecture, performance analysis, and customer solutions. Responsibilities For Software Developer 4
- Own and drive architecture best practices throughout our customers and Oracle
- Think through solutions and identify/document potential issues impacting customers
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in cloud infrastructure
- Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures
- Participate in service affecting incidents and own root cause analysis
- Act as trusted technical advisor to customers, partners, and Oracle sales organizations
- Define new processes to limit and mitigate risk during changes
- Act as SME in networking technologies
- Lead root cause analysis for major network incidents
- Perform detailed network performance analysis
- Engage with customers to understand networking requirements
- Advise on multi-cloud connectivity and hybrid networking strategies
- Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and throughput issues
- Develop network growth models
Requirements For Software Developer 4
- 3 to 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in BGP (Border Gateway Protocol)
- Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure
- Experience with Network Infrastructure
- Proficiency in RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
- English language proficiency
