Oracle is seeking a Principal AI/ML Engineer to lead critical technical domains in machine learning and artificial intelligence. This role combines expertise in ML model development, generative AI, LLMs, data engineering, and MLOps. As a technical lead, you'll drive model development, training, and optimization while working on fine-tuning large-scale models and advancing capabilities in language understanding. The position involves building high-performance, production-grade AI systems and requires expertise in data pipeline management and model deployment. Responsibilities For Principal AI/ML Engineer
- Develop and deploy ML models, implementing best practices in training, evaluation, and inference
- Build and fine-tune large-scale language models, including prompt engineering and model distillation
- Manage data pipeline and ETL/ELT processes
- Implement MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems
- Develop AI-driven applications with API integrations
- Mentor junior team members and communicate technical concepts
Requirements For Principal AI/ML Engineer
- 7-10 years of machine learning engineering experience
- Advanced proficiency in large-scale language models
- Strong background in data pipeline management
- Experience with MLOps practices
- Mastery of Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Proficiency with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud)
- Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field
- AI certifications preferred
