Software Developer 4

Oracle's Database development group is seeking a talented Software Developer 4 to join their Database Cloud Platform team. This role is crucial in developing and scaling Database-as-a-Service offerings for both public and private clouds. The team is responsible for the complete lifecycle management of database instances on Oracle Public Cloud, from initial provisioning to ongoing maintenance.

The position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud technology within Oracle's rapidly growing Database on Public Cloud product. As part of a global development team spread across three regions, you'll be involved in architecture, design, prototyping, and development of various aspects of Database on Cloud releases.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in cloud technologies, database management, and system design. You'll work with senior developers, product management, and operations teams to deliver scalable, extensible Platform-as-a-Service solutions. This role requires strong technical skills in Python programming, cloud infrastructure, and database systems, combined with the ability to mentor team members and work independently.
