Software Development Snr Director (JoinOCI-Leader)

Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure team is building cutting-edge IaaS technologies operating at high scale in a distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. We're seeking a Senior Director of SW Development for the Compute organization to lead Virtual Machine Infrastructure. This role involves managing large engineering teams working on distributed systems, with a focus on building an ultra-high-performance VMI platform supporting millions of VMs across thousands of Hypervisors. The position is part of the Data plane team in Compute Org, responsible for VM delivery, health monitoring, and diagnostic services. This high-visibility role requires strong multidisciplinary operations, technology, and engineering management background, with proven experience in influencing senior business leaders. The role offers significant autonomy and impact on Oracle's infrastructure business growth, requiring excellent executive communications and customer engagement skills. The position involves leading a team of software managers and senior engineers, working directly with strategic customers on business planning, operations, health and performance, and cross-organizational coordination.
