Software Engineer - Analytics Cloud

Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team. This role is for new college graduates (BS/MS/PhD) or those who have graduated within 12 months of the target start date (June/July 2025). The position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area (Redwood Shores, CA & Pleasanton, CA).

OAC is a market-leading business analytics and business intelligence platform that delivers a full range of analytic and reporting capabilities. The successful candidate will apply their knowledge of software development to manage tasks associated with developing, debugging, and designing enterprise-class software applications. They will work within a highly successful product development team using an agile, iterative process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting, debugging, and providing solutions
• Engaging in programs and initiatives to analyze the root cause of issues
• Recommending and evolving suitable solution approaches
• Solving enterprise-grade cloud services problems
• Writing code to address sophisticated problems in a complex multi-tier distributed environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field by August 2025
• Proficiency in Java and at least one of: C, C++, JavaScript, Python, SQL
• Ability to implement sophisticated algorithms and data structures
• Coursework or experience in areas such as Databases, Computer Systems, Linux/UNIX, Object-Oriented Design
• At least one internship or equivalent practical experience
• Must reside in the United States and be able to obtain work authorization in 2025
