Description For Staff Consultant

Oracle is seeking a Staff Consultant for their CGBU Global Consulting department to support Managed Services and Consulting Activities for Oracle Communications products. This role focuses on the Signaling portfolio including DSR/PCRF/UDR/PIC products across 3G, 4G, and 5G domains.

The position requires extensive knowledge of Oracle Communications DSR and PCRF systems, working with both bare-metal and cloud infrastructure. You'll be part of a highly motivated team handling network monitoring, maintenance, support, and implementation projects.

Key responsibilities include providing technical services, assisting with complex service activities, working on cloud deployments, creating technical documentation, and supporting system installations and upgrades. The role requires strong expertise in telecom protocols and cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, strong knowledge of telecom protocols, cloud infrastructure experience, and excellent communication skills. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in telecommunications and cloud computing, with exposure to both traditional and modern infrastructure.

Responsibilities For Staff Consultant

  • Provide technical services and support for Oracle DSR and Oracle PCRF products
  • Assist in complex service activities including capacity analysis and troubleshooting
  • Work on infrastructure ranging from Bare metal to Cloud based deployments
  • Create technical documentation and reports
  • Perform system installations, upgrades, and migrations
  • Work with customers for technical compatibility and integration
  • Perform integration of network nodes in 3G/4G LTE/IMS/5G networks
  • Conduct internal and customer workshops
  • Support flexible timing including weekend and rotational shifts

Requirements For Staff Consultant

  • BS/B.Tech in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in technical consulting role
  • Experience with OC-DSR, OC-PCRF
  • Advanced knowledge of Diameter/SS7/Sigtran/GSM MAP/TCAP protocols
  • Knowledge of cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, VMs, VNF)
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux/Solaris
  • Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, Perl, PHP)
  • Willing to travel up to 65% of the time
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
