SW Developer in Test - fresh graduate

Oracle NetSuite is seeking a Junior Software Engineer in Test to join their team in the Czech Republic. This role is ideal for recent university graduates with foundational knowledge of programming (Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#), SQL, or object-oriented concepts. The position involves working on the back-end office module, developing features that assist customers with investment and financial decisions, and reducing day-to-day customer-facing issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Involvement in all phases of the development process: specification, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance
• Learning about the software, business, and customers to become a well-rounded individual
• Writing clean code and adhering to SOLID principles
• Working in an agile environment with continuous integration and TDD practices
• Collaborating with the analytics team to build embedded analytics, dashboards, reports, and tools for customer insights
• Cooperating with AI and data science teams to leverage AI and Machine Learning for analytics

Ideal Qualifications:

• Computer Science degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
• Experience with Java or similar object-oriented programming language
• Understanding of modern web applications and database-driven applications (SQL)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Analytical thinking and ability to work in a team environment
