Description For Tech Solutions Engineer Intern (12 month program)
The Tech Solutions Engineer (TSE) Intern role is a 12-month program starting 1 April 2025, located in Woodmead, Johannesburg. The primary objective is to assist the wider TSE team in providing technical solutions while indirectly supporting the Tech Sales Representatives. The intern will act as a knowledge support structure for Oracle's products and services, contributing to opportunity generation and enhancing the team's efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the On-Prem Presales Team
- Conducting research on customer install base and industries
- Driving action items and assisting in team meetings
- Preparing weekly team action reports
- Tracking opportunities and collaborating with customers and team members
- Arranging and attending customer meetings
- Supporting the Technology Software Leader
- Acquiring mandatory Oracle certifications
- Implementing or maintaining an APEX project
Qualifications:
- Minimum: BCom IT / BSc IT / BSc Informatics
- Desirable: BSc IT (Hons)

- Proficient presentation skills
- Teamwork and independent work capabilities
