Description For Technical Analyst 1-Support

Oracle's Support organization seeks a Technical Analyst to deliver post-sales support and solutions to customers. As part of the Immediate Response Center (IRC), you'll provide world-class incident management services based on ITIL best practices. The role involves being the technical interface for customers, OEMs, and VARs, resolving problems related to Oracle products installation and maintenance. You'll handle level one support through the Oracle Solution Center, focusing on maintaining high customer satisfaction.

The position requires strong technical skills in Linux and SQL, with responsibilities including proactive system monitoring, alarm investigation, and issue resolution. You'll work in Bengaluru, managing service requests according to SLAs and documenting all investigations. The role offers exposure to enterprise-level support operations and cutting-edge automated tools.

Responsibilities For Technical Analyst 1-Support

  • Provide technical support for internal tools/applications and processes
  • Proactively monitor system/application alarms
  • Investigate, analyze, resolve, or escalate alarms and service requests
  • Prioritize and manage work queue according to service level agreements
  • Document investigation and issue resolution
  • Triage issues to appropriate second-level resources
  • Troubleshoot by gathering information, shadowing end users, testing workflows
  • Analyze log files, query tables, and update database fields

Requirements For Technical Analyst 1-Support

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field
  • At least 1 year experience in Application Support and SQL
  • Good knowledge and hands-on Experience with Linux and SQL
  • Must reside in or willing to relocate to Bengaluru, Karnataka
  • Willing to work in shifts including night shifts
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to remain calm and think clearly under high-pressure situations
