Description For Technical Analyst 2-Support

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Technical Analyst 2 to join their cloud support team. This role is crucial in providing world-class cloud support experience and building the next generation IaaS cloud service. As part of the Engineering organization, you'll act as a bridge between product engineering and partners, while being the voice of the customer to influence product features and improvements.

The position involves three main areas: handling customer service requests, managing incidents that might affect customers, and overseeing changes for dedicated customer regions. You'll be working with a dynamic team that deeply understands our cloud platform operations, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and ensuring optimal customer experience.

Responsibilities For Technical Analyst 2-Support

  • Provides customer support and troubleshooting for complex Cloud/IaaS/PaaS/Database technical problems
  • Works directly with customers to resolve technical issues via support ticketing tools
  • Represents customer on highly sensitive and escalated issues and bridge calls
  • Consults with Customers on complex use of Oracle products
  • Creates and reviews Knowledge Articles and Runbooks
  • Analyses workload and implements changes to improve productivity
  • Participates in shift rotation (05:00 – 13:00, 13:00 – 21:00, 21:00 – 05:00)
  • Acts as Customer advocate ensuring the best customer experience

Requirements For Technical Analyst 2-Support

Kubernetes
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience
  • English and Japanese language proficiency
  • Experience with Cloud Support
  • Knowledge of OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
  • Troubleshooting skills
