Technical Analyst 4-Support

Oracle is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join their established Database Exadata support team in India. This role focuses on troubleshooting complex technical issues related to Oracle Exadata, including Real Application Clusters, High Availability, Data Guard, and various database management aspects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with UNIX, Linux, and/or Solaris platforms.

The position requires working closely with customers, other support engineers, and developers to deliver superior service. As a subject matter expert, you'll resolve complex problems, identify workarounds, and work independently. The role involves weekend rotations and shifts, participating in product testing, and driving quality improvements.

Key responsibilities include managing critical customer situations, consulting on complex Oracle product usage, knowledge transfer through training and mentoring, and contributing to the My Oracle Support Database communities. The role requires expertise in database administration, clustering technologies, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security.
