Responsibilities For Technical Compliance Engineer

  • Determine and interpret applicable Substance Compliance Regulatory Standards for Oracle Hardware products
  • Partner and communicate with internal team on technologies impacted by regulated materials & substances
  • Advise on materials utilized in Computer Industry technologies & Design for Environment Technologies
  • Define test techniques, methodologies, and practices for detecting materials
  • Define material analysis test plans and interpret resulting data
  • Research Global Design for Environment and Substance Compliance Regulations
  • Work with Supply Chains and Suppliers to assess and report on Substance Compliance Risk
  • Provide risk assessments based on regulations
  • Manage data automation and environmental database management systems

Requirements For Technical Compliance Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Materials Engineering, or related field by August 2025
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documents including specifications and BOMs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Expertise in Chemical Analysis & associated test technology
  • Must reside in the United States or attend a US university
  • Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025
  • Preferred: Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
