Oracle Health & Life Sciences is seeking a motivated technical writer passionate about user assistance development and improving the healthcare experience for customers and patients. As an Oracle Health & Life Sciences technical writer, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise and departmental user assistance materials for clinicians, system administrators, and other Oracle employees. Your responsibilities include developing user interface labeling, user help, implementation and configuration documentation, and release text.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate discussions with internal teams on timely delivery of user assistance deliverables
- Mentor others on user assistance and documentation processes, standards, and best practices
- Participate in complex, highly visible user assistance development initiatives
- Author, publish, and maintain original content, review peer-authored content
- Evaluate engineering projects and their customer impact
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex documentation
- Manage the complete user assistance workflow
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Instructional Design, or related field
- At least 5 years of combined higher education and related work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of current trends and technologies in information design
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
