Description For UX/UI Developer Intern (MySQL Heatwave) - 8 month on-site internship
The Corporate Architecture organization at Oracle develops core technologies for the Oracle Cloud. This 8-month on-site internship in Redwood Shores, CA is for current students (BS/MS/PhD) enrolled in a full-time degree program. The intern will be responsible for creating and modifying prototypes, developing web-based interfaces, and collaborating with designers and engineers to implement UI features. The ideal candidate should have a passion for design, be proficient in programming languages like Java, Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and have experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe Suite, or Sketch. - Create, evaluate, and modify prototypes for evolving projects
- Develop rich, easy-to-use web-based interfaces for console designs
- Apply software design and usability processes to improve enterprise applications

- Ability to work from Redwood City, CA office for 8 months
- Attend a university in the US
- Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025
- Proficient in at least two programming languages: Java, Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript
- Proficient in at least two areas: Figma, Adobe Suite, Sketch, Webflow, UX research, Branding
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)
- Previous internship experience (preferred)
