Description For Customer Success Engineer

Orb is revolutionizing billing infrastructure for the next generation of AI and software companies, having raised $44.1M from top-tier investors. As a Customer Success Engineer, you'll be part of the founding Success team, responsible for onboarding and renewing customers while building strategic relationships. The role combines technical expertise with customer-facing skills, working closely with Solutions, Support, and Product teams to deliver world-class customer experiences. You'll manage post-contract relationships, conduct business reviews, and drive platform adoption while becoming an expert in usage-based billing. The position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with various stakeholders from engineers to executives. Responsibilities For Customer Success Engineer

  • Manage customer relationships post-contract signing
  • Forecast renewals with high accuracy
  • Conduct Health Checks and Business Reviews
  • Engage with Product on customer requests
  • Understand customer requirements and analyze business processes
  • Advocate strategically for wider adoption of the Orb platform
  • Become an expert on the Orb platform and use cases

Requirements For Customer Success Engineer

  • 5+ years of customer-facing experience in high growth SaaS and/or B2B startups
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of cloud architectures and data infrastructure technologies
  • Executive presence and instinct with VPs & C-level
  • Experience with managing several personae within an account
  • Consultative mindset
  • Proven track record in planning and executing Business Reviews and Health Checks
  • Ability to work US east coast business hours
