Description For Cloud Engineer

Orfium, a leading technology company in the entertainment industry, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their Infrastructure Platform team. This role combines DevOps culture with cloud engineering expertise, focusing on empowering engineering teams through automation and autonomy.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work with major music and entertainment companies worldwide, including Warner Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and Universal Music Publishing Group. With a team of 700+ professionals across global locations, Orfium is at the forefront of solving the entertainment industry's biggest challenges in digital music and broadcast rights management.

As a Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for tackling diverse infrastructure challenges, implementing DevOps practices, and ensuring standardization across development teams. The role requires strong expertise in AWS services, containerization with Docker, and Infrastructure as Code methodologies. You'll work hands-on with the Internal Data and Platform team to create new features and improve existing solutions.

The ideal candidate should bring 3+ years of AWS experience, strong Python programming skills, and a deep understanding of cloud architecture. Knowledge of Kubernetes, additional cloud platforms, and AWS certifications are valuable assets. The position offers a flexible work arrangement with a hybrid model for Athens-based candidates and remote options for Thessaloniki-based team members.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud provider services

  • Proficiency with Docker technology
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Cloudformation, CDK, or Pulumi
  • Proficient in Python and shell scripting
  • Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting production environments
