Senior Developer- Recording Team

Orfium, the global technology leader in digital music and broadcast rights management, is seeking a Senior Developer to lead the technical recording team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing TV and Radio recording processes and tools, working with developers to create a high-reliability, monitored system.

As a Senior Developer at Orfium, you'll be part of a team of 700+ passionate professionals operating from locations including LA, London, Dublin, Tokyo, and Athens. You'll work on industry-leading software and music reporting solutions that support tracking, data delivery, and monetization for creators, rights holders, and media companies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining existing recording tools, infrastructure, and monitoring tools
• Designing and developing high-quality software applications
• Collaborating with product managers and other developers
• Writing clean, scalable code in multiple programming languages
• Testing, debugging, and ensuring application functionality
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation
• Staying updated with industry trends and suggesting improvements
• Participating in Agile development processes

Required skills:

• Proficiency in Python
• Familiarity with Linux (tools, shell script)
• Knowledge of streaming services (RTMP, SRT, Kafka, FFMPEG)
• Experience in leading and mentoring a technical team
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
