IT / Cybersecurity Engineer

As part of their expansion in North America, OrganOx is seeking a motivated IT / Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team in Madison, NJ. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and security of their IT systems, providing technical assistance to staff across the United States and Europe.

They should have a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and security. Key responsibilities include:

1. Designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure
2. Monitoring systems for uptime, performance, and availability
3. Supporting day-to-day IT operations and troubleshooting
4. Implementing security measures and conducting regular audits
5. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations like HIPAA and FDA
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing technical support

The ideal candidate should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Over 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity
• Proficiency in server and network management, cloud services, and cybersecurity solutions
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in healthcare
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments
