Responsibilities For Product Support Engineer

  • Providing on-site service and repair of OrganOx metra devices
  • Traveling to hospitals and research facilities across North America
  • Performing routine maintenance procedures
  • Conducting root cause investigations and rework
  • Completing Installation Testing and Post-Rework Testing
  • Managing local spare parts inventory
  • Maintaining test equipment and tools
  • Completing technical documentation and reports
  • Working with regulatory frameworks and standards for medical devices

Requirements For Product Support Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in electrical, electronic, mechanical or biomedical engineering
  • Three years or more industry experience servicing and repairing Medical Devices
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering systems
  • Analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to produce Technical Reports
  • Willing to travel 80-90% of working time
  • Valid driving license for USA and Canada
  • Good written and verbal English skills
  • Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
