Software Platform Engineer

Outsight is seeking a Software Platform Engineer to join their forward-thinking team as a Kubernetes and Infrastructure Engineer. This role is crucial in deploying and managing advanced LiDAR 3D real-time processing software, optimizing 3D perception and LiDAR management solutions for diverse environments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Architecting, deploying, and sustaining Kubernetes clusters in both on-premises and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Integrating Kubernetes into software deployment processes
• Overseeing and refining on-premises and cloud resources
• Crafting strategies for hybrid deployments
• Monitoring and addressing performance, scalability, and security issues
• Employing automation in deployment and orchestration

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of Kubernetes experience
• Background in real-time stream processing (advantageous)
• Proficiency in managing on-premises infrastructure and cloud services
• Expertise in Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Python, Bash)
• Understanding of network, security, and storage configurations
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
