Responsibilities For Senior Backend Engineer
- Understand the needs of merchants, recipients, operations teams, drivers, and hub staff to build high-quality engineering solutions
- Write robust, maintainable and scalable code and help others do the same
- Take initiative to level up backend platform and help with scaling
- Share opinions on engineering, operational problems, hiring, and provide feedback
- Occasionally work with drivers and handle packages in the depot
Requirements For Senior Backend Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Experience with NodeJS/TypeScript on the backend is a bonus
- Comfortable making trade-offs between speed and proper architecture
- Able to work without a dedicated product manager and own problems end-to-end
- Comfortable working in a startup environment
- Care about team culture and providing feedback
