Description For Forward Deployed Software Engineer - Intel

Palantir Technologies is seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) to join their team in Washington, D.C. As an FDSE, you'll work at the forefront of data-driven decision-making and operations, tackling some of the world's most critical challenges.

In this role, you'll collaborate directly with customers to understand their most pressing problems and design innovative solutions using data. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge technical solutions, from high-level system design to application development and data integration. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies, including Palantir's proprietary products and open-source tools.

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics. You should be proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript, and have familiarity with data structures, storage systems, and cloud infrastructure. The ability to work effectively in diverse teams and adapt to rapidly changing environments is crucial.

This role requires an active Full Scope Poly level US security clearance and a willingness to travel as needed.
