Forward Deployed Software Engineer, Internship - US Government

Palantir builds the world's leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) Intern, you'll work directly with customers to understand their greatest problems and design and implement solutions using data. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to some of the world's most important industries and institutions.

Your responsibilities will be similar to those at a small startup, with the resources and mentorship of an established tech company. You'll work in small teams with minimal supervision, owning end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects. Your day might include discussing architecture, wrangling massive-scale data, coding custom web apps, speaking with customer executives, or establishing team strategy.

• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript
• Willingness to travel 25-50% to client sites
• Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal direction
• Interest in working with large-scale data to solve valuable business problems
• Must be graduating in 2026 (final internship before graduating)
• Willingness to undergo a US government background investigation
