Forward Deployed Software Engineer - Korea Forward Deployed

Forward Deployed Software Engineers (FDSEs) understand our customers' greatest pain points and design end-to-end solutions to address them. FDSEs deploy ground breaking technical solutions to solve our customers' hardest problems. Projects often start with nebulous questions, and FDSEs lead the way in developing solutions, from high-level system design and prototyping to application development and data integration.

As an FDSE, you'll work with customers around the globe, gaining rare insight into the world's most important industries and institutions. You'll learn how to unpack problems, understand costs and consequences of solutions, and work autonomously within a supportive community.

We use a variety of technologies, including:

• Core Palantir products
• Custom applications built on top of core Palantir platforms
• Postgres, Cassandra, Hadoop, and Spark for distributed data storage and parallel computing
• Java and Groovy for back-end applications and data integration tools
• Typescript, React, Leaflet, and d3 for web technologies
• Python for data processing and analysis
• Palantir cloud infrastructure based on AWS EC2 and S3

This position requires an active Top Secret Clearance with eligibility and willingness to obtain SCI. The role is based in Seoul, South Korea, in support of US Government work.
