Senior Software Engineer, Substrate

Palantir Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Substrate team, responsible for core production infrastructure. The role involves designing and building Palantir's managed Kubernetes product offerings across various environments, from on-premise to major cloud hyperscalers. You'll work on bootstrapping and operating K8s clusters, ensuring scale, stability, and security across different compliance regimes and hosting infrastructure types. The ideal candidate should have strong systems programming experience, familiarity with infrastructure automation tools, and deep knowledge of containers and Kubernetes at scale. This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging infrastructure problems and contribute to core CNCF components.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional software development experience in core infrastructure
• 2+ years of experience in system design or architecture
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Proficiency in golang, C/C++ or equivalent
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools
• Deep familiarity with hardware, OS configurations, and networking
• Experience with cloud providers or data center operations
