Software Engineer - Apollo Platform

Palantir is seeking a Software Engineer for their Apollo Platform team. Apollo enables autonomous management and continuous deployment of software across various environments, from on-premise to cloud providers, disconnected environments, and edge computing. As a Software Engineer on the Apollo platform, you will build software at scale to transform how organizations deploy software worldwide. You'll be responsible for mission-critical software powering deployment for both Palantir and its customers in commercial and government spaces.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining highly available systems for orchestrating software deployment across hundreds of production environments
• Engaging with customers to solve immediate problems and maintain a tight feedback loop
• Collaborating with other teams to address cross-boundary issues
• Debugging complex issues and performance problems throughout the stack

The ideal candidate should have:

• Familiarity with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience developing and managing highly-available distributed systems
• Success in building systems meeting requirements for monitoring, stability, and scalability
• Experience in high-quality software development in a fast-paced CI/CD environment
• High empathy for developer and operator workflows and productivity
