Forward Deployed Software Engineer - Defense Industrial Base

As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) at Palantir, you'll work directly with customers to quickly understand their greatest problems and design and implement solutions using data. Your responsibilities will be similar to those of a startup CTO: working in small teams and owning end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects. A typical day might include discussing architecture with fellow engineers, wrangling massive-scale data, coding a custom web app, speaking with customer executives, or establishing strategy for your team.

Key requirements include:

• U.S. Person Required
• 1+ years of relevant, post-college work experience
• Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed to client sites (flexible based on personal preferences)

Palantir offers a competitive salary range of $135,000 - $200,000/year, plus potential Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.
