Responsibilities For Forward Deployed Software Engineer - Sensor Fusion and Tracking
- Build, integrate, and test software solutions for drone autonomy and navigation, sensor/data fusion, and counter drone defense
- Implement solutions on the edge, on-prem, and in hybrid-cloud environments
- Rapidly iterate to adapt solutions to new needs and continuous deployment
- Collaborate with engineers across Palantir to design, build, deploy, and support software
Requirements For Forward Deployed Software Engineer - Sensor Fusion and Tracking
- Background in Drone Autonomy, Navigation, Computer Vision, Sensor Fusion, Multi-Target Tracking, Autonomous Driving, Robotics or related areas
- Strong coding skills with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages
- Strong integration skills and experience with Networking, Linux/GNU, Scripting and Automation Tools
- Proficiency in scripting skills including Bash
- Great problem solving skills with the ability to navigate complex systems
- Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance
- Ability to travel 25-75%, varies by location and team
