The Security Implementation Engineer will play a crucial role in implementing, analyzing, and assessing security strategies across technology platforms at the enterprise level. This position requires expertise in cloud security, DevSecOps, and comprehensive security implementation across various platforms.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering and cloud security implementation. You'll work with cutting-edge cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), implement security controls, manage DevSecOps practices, and conduct vulnerability assessments. Responsibilities For Security Implementation Engineer
- Implement security controls in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Manage security aspects of DevOps/DevSecOps including Infrastructure as Code
- Conduct vulnerability scanning, threat modeling, and penetration testing
- Implement application security practices
- Manage identity and access management and encryption mechanisms
- Operate and manage incident response processes
- Manage endpoint and on-premises security solutions
- Stay current with latest security systems and technology
Requirements For Security Implementation Engineer
- 5+ years of practical hands-on experience in security engineering
- Experience in designing and deploying technical security solutions
- In-depth technical understanding of cloud services
- Expertise with cloud security solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency in vulnerability management tools
- Skilled in threat modeling and penetration testing
- Deep understanding of data governance practices
- Familiarity with scaling and capacity management techniques
- Recommended certifications: CCSK, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty
