We're seeking a talented Senior Go developer to join our team at Simple, a nutrition and wellness app with over 15 million users and 100% YoY revenue growth. You'll be part of developing a revolutionary AI product to improve users' health in an engaging way.
As a Senior Go developer, you'll:
- Develop and maintain microservices in Go
- Design efficient, reusable, and reliable Go code
- Ensure optimal performance and quality of applications
- Work with AWS cloud services and Kubernetes
- Manage PostgreSQL databases
We're looking for someone with:
- 3+ years of product development experience
- Strong understanding of scalable application design principles
- Expertise in secure REST API design
- Familiarity with Echo web framework, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS, Git, CI/CD, and monitoring services

Responsibilities For Senior Go Developer
- Development and maintenance of microservices in Go
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Go code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
- Adequately assess development deadlines and timely signal problems
- Integration with AWS cloud services
- Management of containerized applications using Kubernetes
- Working with PostgreSQL databases
- Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments
Requirements For Senior Go Developer
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications
- Understanding of secure REST API design
- Familiarity with Echo web framework
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes concepts
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud computing services
- Experience with Git, CI/CD
- Experience with logging and monitoring services (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Sentry)
- Experience of working in a product development team for at least 3 years
- Ability to work in a team, perceive constructive criticism and other people's ideas
