Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

Pano is a venture-backed climate tech startup revolutionizing wildfire early detection through advanced technology. Founded in 2020 and having raised over $40M, we're tackling the critical challenge of rapid wildfire detection and response. Our solution combines mountaintop cameras, satellites, IoT, and AI to detect smoke early and provide real-time fire intelligence to first responders and asset owners.

As our Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing our single-page application crucial for wildfire detection. You'll work on enhancing map functionality, improving our custom canvas video player, and extending React application capabilities. This role demands expertise in frontend technologies, with a focus on creating accessible, well-tested solutions that work across all devices.

We're looking for someone who can balance technical excellence with practical delivery, bringing 5+ years of frontend experience to our mission. You'll be joining a diverse team of professionals from companies like Apple, Cisco, Nest, DoorDash, and Meta, working in a hybrid environment with our headquarters in San Francisco's Mission District.

The position offers competitive compensation ($150,000-$205,000) plus equity, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work on technology that directly impacts climate change response.
