Parallel Wireless is seeking an Engineer II, QA to join their team in Bangalore. This role involves working on the future of telecom, specifically in 5G NR and LTE functionalities. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in radio access technology, with a focus on RAN (5G/4G) testing and feature testing in lab environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing 3GPP standards and creating thorough test plans
- Developing test scripts using available tools
- Building test setups and executing test cases
- Debugging system logs and identifying root causes of issues
- Strategizing and implementing efficient QA test planning
- Working with Kubernetes deployments
Required skills:
- Experience with wireless test tools (QXDM, TM500, Channel Emulator)
- Knowledge of 5G NR procedures and message flows
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Tcl)
- Strong automation and scripting skills

Responsibilities For Engineer II, QA
- Analyze 3GPP standards and create test plans for 5G NR and LTE functionalities
- Develop test scripts using available tools
- Build test setups and execute test cases
- Debug system logs and identify root causes of issues
- Create test plans for 5G NR / 4G features following 3GPP and ORAN standards
- Strategize and implement efficient QA test planning
- Work with Kubernetes deployments
- Quickly root cause and replicate customer issues in lab environment
Requirements For Engineer II, QA
- 1-3 years of experience in radio access technology
- Experience in RAN (5G/4G) Testing and Feature testing
- Hands-on experience with wireless test tools (QXDM, TM500, Channel Emulator)
- Knowledge of 5G NR procedures and message flows
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Tcl)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science Engineering
- Strong automation and scripting skills
