Parallel Wireless is seeking a Junior System Test Engineer to contribute to the testing of wireless telecom and cloud-based 5G solutions. This role offers an opportunity to learn and contribute to ORAN wireless technology. The ideal candidate will review requirements, create test plans, design test setups, analyze logs, and verify various Parallel Wireless products. Key responsibilities include creating comprehensive test cases for 5G technologies, resolving issues in end-to-end setups, and suggesting product improvements. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Communications/Computer Science Engineering and preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of 3GPP standards, test tools, and virtualization platforms is desired. Responsibilities For Junior System Test Engineer - North
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
- Create detailed test plans and test cases for 5G technologies
- Design and build end-to-end test setups
- Analyze and debug logs for test simulators and systems under test
- Resolve issues in end-to-end setups
- Analyze, reproduce and validate customer-found defects
- Verify various Parallel Wireless Products and Applications
- Suggest improvements and changes to the product
Requirements For Junior System Test Engineer - North
- Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronic/Communications/Computer Science Engineering
- 1-2 years of relevant professional experience (preferred)
- Understanding of 3GPP standards covering PHY, MAC, PDCP, RLC, RRC, S1AP, and X2AP protocols
- Knowledge of Linux/UNIX-based platforms
- Experience with LAN/WAN, WLAN, Routing protocols – L2 and L3, TCP/IP, QoS
- Knowledge of OpenStack, Docker, and Kubernetes technologies (preferred)
- Understanding of virtualization platforms like VMware, KVM, etc.
- Experience in using test management and bug-tracking tools (Ex: JIRA)
