Description For Software Engineer (Integrations)

Parity, a pioneering blockchain infrastructure company founded by Ethereum co-founder Dr. Gavin Wood, is seeking a Software Engineer for their Front and Integrations Team. This role focuses on building and maintaining tools and applications primarily in TypeScript and Rust to enhance developer interaction with Substrate-based blockchains like Polkadot.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects including EVM compatibility, substrate-connect-wallet, substrate-api-sidecar, polkadot-js, and substrate-telemetry. You'll be part of a remote-first global team, contributing to the development of Web3 technologies including Polkadot, Substrate, and Kusama.

The ideal candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time on TypeScript projects and 20% on Rust projects, with flexibility based on skills and preferences. You'll work in a distributed team of around 10 engineers, primarily based in Europe. The role requires strong communication skills, autonomous work capability, and genuine interest in blockchain technology.

Key projects you'll contribute to include ensuring EVM compatibility, developing wallet solutions, creating RESTful services, and maintaining tools for the Polkadot ecosystem. The position offers competitive compensation, including tokens, flexible working arrangements, and comprehensive benefits for eligible employees.

Join a team that's at the forefront of Web3 development, working with some of the brightest minds in the blockchain space. This role provides excellent opportunities for professional growth, continuous learning, and making a significant impact in the blockchain industry.
