Parkopedia is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join their In-Car Payments engineering team, focusing on their cutting-edge in-car commerce platform that enables drivers to pay for fueling and parking from within their vehicle. Responsibilities For Full-Stack Engineer (Node, TypeScript, React), In-Car Payments
- Develop front-end components using React and TypeScript for driver-facing web interfaces
- Develop new admin panel for payment orchestration layer
- Design intuitive card-entry interfaces
- Work with serverless AWS infrastructure for the backend
- Implement business logic, data processing, and security measures
- Integrate card enrolment forms and payment processors
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies
- Work with colleagues, stakeholders and third parties
- Ensure code testing and review to highest standards
- Develop, deploy, operate and monitor team deliverables
Requirements For Full-Stack Engineer (Node, TypeScript, React), In-Car Payments
- Proven experience (5+ years) in full-stack development using Node.js, TypeScript and React
- Strong proficiency in React and RESTful API design
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, particularly Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudFront, and KMS
- Experience with serverless architectures
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as GitHub Actions and IaC (e.g. CDK)
- Strong understanding of security best practices
- Experience with encryption techniques and secure data handling
- Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable systems capable of handling high-traffic loads
