Responsibilities For Cybersecurity Engineer

  • Design and implement cybersecurity measures, policies, and guidelines for applications and cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with engineering team to ensure secure DevOps practices
  • Lead security incident response and act as incident commander
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans
  • Implement and manage security tools including firewalls, VPN, and IDS/IPS
  • Manage SOC2 compliance audit
  • Conduct security training and awareness programs
  • Lead and mentor teams on security practices

Requirements For Cybersecurity Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields
  • 4-5 years of experience in cyber security
  • Experience with securing AWS & GCP environments
  • Understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, OWASP)
  • Experience with security tools (WAF, VPN, IDS/IPS, SIEM)
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent)
  • Experience with IAM and MFA solutions
  • Knowledge of zero-trust architecture
