Frontend Engineer, Home

This role is crucial in shaping the Home experience, where members discover and engage with creators' content. The position offers a hybrid work model in either New York or San Francisco, requiring 2 days per week in office.

The role focuses on building high-quality, performant, and personalized experiences in the Patreon web app. As the Web expert on a cross-functional team, you'll work alongside backend and machine learning engineers to optimize content discovery and engagement. Key responsibilities include architecting new features for the Home feed, integrating ranking systems, and ensuring optimal frontend performance.

The ideal candidate brings 3-4+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks like React. They should have a strong foundation in scalable frontend architecture, performance optimization, and responsive design. The role requires excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
