Patreon, a leading media and community platform, is seeking an iOS Engineer to join their Home Team. With over $8B earned since inception and 10M monthly paying fans, Patreon is at the forefront of the creator economy. The role focuses on shaping the Home experience, ensuring members seamlessly discover and engage with creators' content. As the iOS expert on a cross-functional team, you'll work alongside backend and ML engineers to optimize content discovery and engagement.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to build high-quality, performant, and personalized experiences in the Patreon iOS app. Key responsibilities include architecting new features for the Home feed, integrating ranking systems, and optimizing app performance. The ideal candidate brings 3-4+ years of iOS development experience with Swift and a strong understanding of scalable architecture.

Responsibilities For iOS Engineer, Home

  • Architect and develop new features for the Home feed, improving discoverability and engagement
  • Work closely with backend and ML engineers to integrate ranking and recommendation systems into the iOS app
  • Partner with product, design, and data teams to create seamless, user-friendly experiences
  • Optimize app performance, ensuring smooth and efficient content delivery
  • Run client-side A/B tests to measure impact and iterate on product improvements
  • Continuously refine the iOS codebase, adopting best practices and modern development patterns

Requirements For iOS Engineer, Home
