PayPal is seeking an Android Engineer to join their team working on the PayPal Deals and Rewards hub. Responsibilities For Android Engineer

  • Design, develop and build projects using Java and Kotlin
  • Write reusable, flexible, testable and modular code
  • Bring product and code improvement ideas to the team
  • Work with engineering managers and product to break down requirements into engineering stories
  • Work on all aspects of the Android code base for the PayPal Deals and Rewards hub

Requirements For Android Engineer

  • At least 4 years of experience using common design patterns in mobile applications (MVC and MVVM)
  • Solid understanding of mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Solid knowledge of algorithms with good problem solving skills
  • Experience with creating custom components and dynamic layouts in Android
  • Experience with version control systems
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Must be fluent in Kotlin
