  • Launch, measure, and scale new solutions for PayPal App and website
  • Identify opportunities through deep dive analyses of behavioral and transactional data
  • Translate business problems into actionable data-driven analyses
  • Size potential impact of new ideas for product roadmaps
  • Create dashboards and reports for key metrics
  • Partner with product leaders on metrics for new features
  • Define best practices in analytics instrumentation and experimentation
  • Support multiple projects in fast-paced environment

Requirements For Data Scientist

Python
  • Data-driven mindset with a degree in quantitative discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics)
  • At least 3 years of experience analyzing large, multi-dimensional data sets
  • Experience influencing product strategy through analyses
  • Understanding of statistics and experience designing complex experiments
  • Fluent in SQL and experience with Python or R
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with visualization tools like Tableau preferred
  • Prior work experience in product analytics preferred
