Description For Data Scientist

This role is part of the Consumer Global Analytics and Data Science (GADS) team, which shapes strategy through data-driven decision making. Responsibilities For Data Scientist

  • Help launch, measure, and scale new solutions to improve customers' experiences
  • Identify new opportunities through deep dive analyses leveraging behavioral and transactional user data
  • Translate business problems into actionable data-driven analyses
  • Size potential impact of new ideas to help prioritize product roadmaps
  • Create dashboards and reports to track key metrics
  • Partner with product leaders on metrics and performance measurement
  • Define best practices in analytics instrumentation and experimentation

Requirements For Data Scientist

Python
  • Bachelors in a quantitative field (math, statistics, computer science, or similar STEM fields)
  • At least 3 years of experience analyzing large data sets
  • Experience influencing product strategy through analyses
  • Understanding of statistics and experience with complex experiments
  • Fluent in SQL and experience with Python or R
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills
  • Experience with visualization tools like Tableau
  • Prior product analytics experience preferred
